What's going on in:

&
Aguascalientes
There is a lot going on and I want to keep you all informed with the highlights of each month. Thank you to all who pray for and support these ministries. We are able to bless so many people and we couldn't do it without you. To God be all the glory. Gracias amigos!
June was a great month with lots of things happening. There were some changes in the church but the ministry continues. Also, I got to travel a bit in the US and one of my girls accomplished a huge milestone.
We said goodbye to Rob & Penny Titmas, two great leaders at Horizon church. They have been at Horizon for over 30 years and have both served in multiple ministries and supported numerous missionaries over the years. I was blessed to help them move some of their stuff, and as we loaded up the trailer we found their pastor Phillip masks; that gave us a good laugh. I saw their beautiful new house in Fallbrook and was there as we prayed for God's blessing in this new chapter of their lives. I wish them the best and may God bless them in their new home and church!
We celebrated Father's Day in Phoenix, Arizona. My sister lives out there so my parents and I spent a few days with her and her boys. We went to my nephew's ice hockey game and it felt great to be at an ice rink while being in Phoenix's 109 degree weather! Anyway, I am so thankful for my family and my dad. The father is the head of the household and sadly many people today grow up in a home without one. After many years of working with orphanages, I realized how blessed I am to have my dad in my life. He is a great man and has taught me so many wonderful things. He has always been there for me and has taken such good care of his family. It was a blessing to be with him and honor him that day.
And since I was in the US on Father's Day, I couldn't be in Mexico with my girls. But I received some great news - that one of my girls, Elvira, finished her 1st year of medical school! It was a long year with lots of stress and late nights but she got it done. I'm proud of her and am happy that she gets to take a summer break and rest...she earned it!
The Jr High Ministry is going well. One of the lessons was about our identity in Christ. Many times we put our identity in what we do or how much stuff we have, but the reality is that earthly titles and material things are only temporary. Our relationship with Jesus is eternal and should be priority #1. So as an example, I had a student lose her diploma, a businessman lose all his money, and an athlete get injured so he could no longer play. The point was that even if we were to lose everything that is important to us in this world but remain with our faith, then we are still children of God. And that can never be taken away. So no matter what the circumstances are in our lives, we are sons & daughters of the Living God and that should be enough!

I did a job for a friend of mine. I put a 6ftx20ft overhang on the side of her house so she could have a storage area. It was a fun project and it turned out very nice.
And on the last day of the month, on June 30th, I flew with a small group of people to Arkansas in order to help out with disaster relief. Samaritan's Purse is there helping clean up after a tornado struck and we will be there one week helping out.
